Get to know me

I’m so glad you’re here

Chances are if you made it this far you have a pretty good idea of who I am and why I do what I do. If you’re still dying to know more (then we should really meet up for a drink and become friends) here are few more tidbits about me…

  • My daughter, Wesley, was born on January 1st of 2024. I’ve never prayed and wished for anything more. The struggle we went through to get her here has forever changed me and in turn has changed how I document families. There is truly no greater love.

  • Charlie and I renovated our whole house down to the studs. Just the two of us. It’s still a work in progress, but something that makes me so proud of us.

  • It is the honor of my life when families invite me back year after year to document their family. The trust and responsibility they place in me is never lost on me.

  • I had breast cancer when I was 26 which changed a lot about who I am, as you can imagine. It’s a good reminder to live life to the fullest and really prioritize happiness.

  • I was the president of Showchoir in high school. If you’ve known me for longer than 5 minutes I’ve probably told you that already. ;)

  • Concerts I will never turn down: Kenny Chesney, John Mayer, Third Eye Blind and Garth Brooks (plus a lot more because yolo).

  • The best trips I’ve ever been on: Banff with my little family of 3 (when Wesley was 5 months old and we made the most special memories), seeing the Northern Lights in Norway with my best friend, a summer backpacking through Europe after college, Christmas in NYC and any Caribbean island - any day.

  • I sang the 7th Inning Stretch at a Chicago Cubs Game once.

  • My daughter and I have the same middle name (and my niece, too!)

Hopefully this gives you a little insight into me. Bottom line…I love life and love what I do. I get so much fulfillment from showing families how beautiful their life is. And I can’t wait to show you, too!
