HI! I’m Lauren.

There are two equally important parts to what I do.  Both pull from the same space of wanting to create epically beautiful photographs of the moments you will look back on and cherish.  Seasons of life are fleeting and I wholeheartedly believe your story, every part of it, deserves to be captured in an authentic, beautiful way.  So where does that start?

THE FIRST IS LIGHT.

I live and breathe good light.  Whether it's that glow of golden light right before sunset or the way morning light fills a house with so much warmth- I'm obsessed with it.  I'm the person who pulls over when there is a beautiful sunset or gets lost in the dappled sunlight peaking it’s way through the trees.  I love good light..simple as that.  And beautiful photos start with beautiful light.

THE SECOND (AND MOST IMPORTANT) IS LOVE.

A great family photo, at it’s very core, starts with love.  What I enjoy most about my job is capturing the love of family. I am passionate about showing you the beauty in the mundane moments that make up parenthood.  Those brief, but powerful years are full of so much joy and I want to capture as many of those moments as I possibly can.  Every family has a love story and I’d love to be the one to show you the beauty that is yours, exactly as it is.

ME?

I'm a 'big glass of Chardonnay sitting on a patio soaking up every second life has to offer' type of person. I am a new mom which has completely opened my world to a whole new way of documenting families.  I get that love that aches in your chest when you have children and I am so passionate about documenting it in a real and authentic way . I love crime shows, my hunky home-builder of a boyfriend, drinking coffee on the deck, my family & friends, any reason to open champagne and every day I get to do what I love (hint: it's taking photos).
